T&E Meats: Located in Harrisonburg, VA, T&E Meats is partially owned by Joel Salatin, owner of Polyface Farms, made famous in the book The Omnivore's Delimma by Michael Pollan. T&E pays great attention to detail in their processing of a full range of livestock and, certified by the AWA, they take special care to treat and dispose of the animals by the most humane methods. They are the only processor in our area offering a "scald and scrape" service.
Fauquier's Finest: Just outside of Warrenton, VA, Fauquier is a quality processor that meets the highest industry standards. They have a great sausage selection and they are the only slaughter house in the area that will process full market weight intact boars, which is a servicc we appreciate. They are also AWA certified.
