- We offer whole and half hog purchases through a full range of sizes, from suckling up to 300 lbs+. Prices start at $3.65/lb of the warm head-on hanging weight. This includes kill fee, gutting, and "scald and scrape". Cuts and a full range of further processing at USDA facility available for nominal extra charges. Hanging weight is generally about 75% of live weight. Please call or Email for exact current availability, full price list and delivery options. Please allow up to 3 weeks to work into butcher schedule from date of order. A 10% deposit (minimum $25) is required with invoice, which is refundable if order takes more than 4 weeks to fill. We plan to have a presence at both the Forest Hill Farmer's Market in Richmond and the City Market of Charlottesville starting this spring, where will offer a full range of cuts, as well.
